Images of the Shuttle Discovery's Last Flight

Our position under the Shrine tower

Word arrives that the Shuttle Discovery is flying a path along 4th St. N.E.

Our first glimpse of the historic flight

The shuttle Discovery is heading directly toward CUA and the Shrine

Discovery is nearing campus

A brief moment in history....
Goose bumps for the pride and......sadness!

Furious that my zoom lens is in my camera bag 200 yards away!!

Truly an impressive sight...

One last fly over....

Thank you for your service, Discovery.

The shuttle has a well deserved military escort!

An era ended...filled with American pride!

One last image of history...enroute to the Air and Space Museum

Tuscanny is a wine region that gives some of the most important reds in the world

Put a coin in the boar's jaw w/ the intent to let it fall through the grates below for good luck!
