The Unseen: Valentine Fun

I bought some new Valentine's Day decorations for my kitchen.  This was taken during the day without a flash.
This was during the evening--no flash

A straight ahead perspective...

The Unseen: College Reflections

The reflection in the window behind my desk and the mascot of my college alma mater.  Sadly, there is little reason to "fear the turtle" in recent years. GO TERPS!!

The Unseen: Truth and Consequences

Although my travels frequently take me past this traffic control sign on Michigan Avenue, on one occasion I didn't "See" it.

A few weeks later an image similar to this arrived on a citation from the D.C.Government.  An expensive reminder to be more observant!

The Unseen: Overhead and Underfoot

Weather permitting, I walk the circumference of the campus during lunch.  The west-facing view of the Shrine from Harwood Road emphasizes the majesty and grandeur of this sacred space.

On the sidewalk along Harwood Road my initials are imprinted into the concrete.  The initials of my maiden name were not much better: B.S.  (No, I am not the graffiti culprit!)

Assignment #2: The Unseen
